I’ve had an awesome time learning Japanese from Akemi-Sensei.

The in-person private class has been so helpful for my Japanese speaking skills. Each class is geared towards what I need to work on. I always leave feeling like I learned something helpful and useful.

The sign language instructor Mechelle is amazing!! It's so easy to pick up ASL with her as the teacher! I took this class in person. I've been taking my two kids (preschooler and 4th grader) to Spanish classes at Language Door for about 3 months and we've had a great experience. The teachers are good and staff is very helpful. We especially like all of Maestra Liz's singing in the little kids' class. : ) The two things I like most about Language Door compared to other programs are, first, they are nimble and willing to work things out to fit what your family needs. They were able to find a class for my older son at the same time as the younger one, and that was very helpful. I absolutely love Language Door. The teacher I have for my advanced Spanish class on Saturdays is amazing- extremely friendly, kind and very well educated and good at explaining and tailoring lessons to each individual student. What really makes this place stand out (and believe me I did my research) is that if you want to take a foreign language class with them you can sit in on a few classes before you decide to sign up for the new start date. The owner, Natascha is also extremely attentive and you can tell she loves what she does and goes the extra mile for her students and teachers. I am quite impressed with the level of service provided and it was more than worth it for the price! Language Door definitely deserves five Stars. I want to thank Natascha, the owner and Anders, my Swedish language instructor. Both are very professional. Thanks to my sister-in-law who is from Sweden, I took a one on one class with Anders for eight weeks. I began the class with a little knowledge of Swedish. Anders really helped me build my confidence, so I am now speaking and writing a lot more. Anders definitely taught me a lot about the language. I really enjoyed the eight weeks at Language Door. I would recommend Language Door to anyone who wants to learn a language. I want to thank Anders and Natascha for making the last eight weeks so enjoyable. I also want to thank my sister-in-law who has encouraged me to learn Swedish. Swedish is a very beautiful language and really worth learning. I took private French lessons here for 12 weeks to supplement my studies as a French language minor. Not only were my two teacher's excellent but also the staff and schedulers are extremely organized. They are very quick to respond are genuinely interested in each student's individual goals. My personal situation was very specific as I was intending to skip 2 course levels of French to enroll in a more advanced course at university. My teachers (Anne & Elena) provided lots of conversation practice & answered all my questions. Unbelievably talented staff at The Language Door ! Having taken courses at other institutes , this company never pressures the student to enroll to cover their staffing . The environment is friendly and casual and perfect for a motivated self-learner without any undue stress . I've taken two different languages here and I have to give them props for creating a nice sense of community with the students. The teachers are engaged and approachable. This is probably the best language school in the area.
