December 29, Thursday. Arrival in Rome
Benvenuti a Roma! Transfer to Hotel des Artists. After we arrive, you can eat and rest before a quick tour of the neighborhood.
December 30, Friday. Cooking class
Whether you are a seasoned cook or just beginning to find your way around the kitchen, you will have a great time developing new culinary skills with Daniela. The class lasts about four hours, and includes a visit to a market, the cooking lesson itself, and a leisurely lunch. B/L
Dark side of Rome Tour
We will start at the beautiful Castel Sant’Angelo, we will take a walk through the heart of the city, visit places of public executions, the houses of serial killers and poisoners, see one of the most important renaissance palaces, learn about Popes gone wild, see the place of assassination of Julius Caesar and much more!
December 31, Saturday. Capodanno
We are going to visit the 100 presepi exhibition (Piazza del Popolo, Sala del Bramante). New year’s dinner and night at the Roman Forum for a free concert. B/D
January 1, Sunday. Cappuccini Museum
A strange ossuary that has survived the centuries. Here, five successive chambers are decorated in carefully wrought patterns and vignettes constructed entirely of human bones and mummified corpses.

Perfect tour from Rome, where you will visit two of the most important historical houses of Italy, Villa d’Este and Hadrian’s Villa. A unique group excursion form Rome, where you will explore these amazing historical spots. B
January 4, Wednesday.
Pontifical Villas of Castel Gandolfo – Vatican City State

- You will get a taste of the best wines made here and find out more about local traditions regarding wine making. B
January 5, Thursday. Highlights Tour with an Archaeologist
You will discover the Roman Buildings that already mark the city, the hidden treasures of medieval Rome, or the rich churches of the papal Rome, with their mosaics and paintings.

January 6, Friday. Free afternoon for shopping.
Night in Piazza Navona waiting for the Befana (an old woman who delivers gifts to children throughout Italy on Epiphany Eve). B

CANCELLATION FEES FOR TRAVELERS: 90 Days or more $500 per person; 89-61 days 20% of tour cost; 60 Days or less; only monies that may be recovered from overseas supplier/s will be refunded. 45 days or less no refund. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

Conditions could include weather, government appropriation of hotel space, changes in airline schedules’ or events that are beyond the control of Language door, Inc. If any of these events occur, we reserve the right to alter the itinerary as deemed necessary. If there are any savings realized by these changes, it will be passed on to the traveler. Every effort will be made to confirm the hotels and lodges named in the itinerary. In the event that these hotels and/or lodges cannot be confirmed or must be changed once confirmed, we will select an appropriate property in the same category.
