From Our Students

“I love my Russian classes with Natasha! She always manages to keep me engaged and of course has a thorough understanding of the language. I look forward to our sessions every week.”
Wade

“I have been taking French classes with Language Door for years. It is like my meditation time. I am so happy that they are offering online classes during this difficult time. Having the class every week and seeing my teacher and other students definitely give me a sense of routine and comfort.”
- Shakeh

"We couldn't be happier with Language Door ! My two kids have been studying Spanish for the last 3 years and can now read, write and converse. Not to mention they enjoy speaking Spanish and love their teachers , who are native speakers. Studying online gives a lot of flexibility , we love that as well!"
Zinat

"Language Door has been amazing for me! I started taking Russian classes with the wonderful Kseniia about 3 months ago and I have improved dramatically in such a short time! Language Door is great at matching you up with the right teacher for you. I highly recommend them for anyone trying to learn a new language or improve their skills."

LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE IN MEMPHIS

Memphis is a city along the Mississippi River in southwestern Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. Its 2019 population was 651,073, making it Tennessee’s second-most populous city and the nation’s 26th-largest. Greater Memphis is the 42nd-largest metropolitan area in the United States, with a population of 1,348,260 in 2017. One of the more historic and culturally significant cities of the southern United States, Memphis has a wide variety of landscapes and distinct neighborhoods. Memphis played a prominent role in the American civil rights movement and was the site of Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1968 assassination. The city now hosts the National Civil Rights Museum—a Smithsonian affiliate institution. Since the civil rights era, Memphis has become one of the nation’s leading commercial centers in transportation and logistics. Its largest employer is the multinational courier corporation FedEx, which maintains its global air hub at Memphis International Airport, making it the second-busiest cargo airport in the world. In addition to being a global air cargo leader, the International Port of Memphis also hosts the fifth-busiest inland water port in the U.S., with access to the Mississippi River allowing shipments to arrive from around the world for conversion to train and trucking transport throughout the United States, making Memphis a multi-modal hub for trading goods for imports and exports despite its inland location. As a regional center for commerce, education, media, art, and entertainment, Memphis has long had a prominent music scene, with historic blues clubs on Beale Street. The city’s music has continued to be shaped by a multicultural mix of influences: the blues, country, rock and roll, soul, and hip-hop. Memphis-style barbecue has achieved international prominence, and the city hosts the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest, which attracts over 100,000 visitors to the city annually. Through international trade, music, food, and so much more, Memphis has become a melting pot of people and cultures from all around the world. Language Door is here to help you connect to people in all walks of your life through speech. With native speaking teachers, and an authentic learning experience, your new class is just a click away!
